Interior Designer

Job Title:  Interior Designer

Position Description
The Interior Designer populates, designs and creates variations of virtual spaces in 3D using Unreal Engine.This includes interior and exterior spaces and layouts a well as coordinating with 3D artists to help produce new assets for the purpose of virtual interior design.

Essential Job Functions include the following duties:

  • Manage 3D max files and importing pipelines into Unreal Engine 4.

  • Populate detailed 3D environments, including furniture, landscapes, props, etc. This in accordance with the reference material and original design.

  • Defines and implements lighting and atmosphere of the 3D spaces taking care of scene FPS and performance for the purpose of rendering and real time interaction.

  • Collaborate with project managers to refine the product design to meet clients’ needs while also ensuring that the product meets company standards.

  • Collaborate as needed with peers and teammembers.

  • Understanding of and adherence to Unreal Engine file naming conventions to ensure project overall structure.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • CV with projects portfolio

  • Highly proficient in 3D Max

  • Experience in Unreal Engine 4

  • High level of organization and attention to detail.

  • Ability to quickly solve problems to keep projects on track.

  • Ability to share skills and knowledge with others.

  • Experience in Twin Motion is a plus

  • Experience in Datasmith is a plus
